The signature weapon of the Blue Bonker!
+100% damage done to buildings
The Megabuster MkII is a slight rework of an April Fool's weapon, but a whole lot more serious. It's a Scout secondary that fires 3-shot projectile bursts that deal ~20 damage each. Not exactly the most intimidating weapon, but it absolutely demolishes unguarded Sentries and other buildings, making it a great companion on maps where Scouts would otherwise be very easily shut down.
— Weapon announcement on the official Slag Forum

The Megabuster MKII is a secondary weapon for the Scout. Visually, it is entirely identical to the weapon used by the titular character of the Megaman video game series, and functions similarly.

It fires Flaregun-style projectiles in three-round bursts which deal extra damage against buildings.

StrategyEdit

  • The projectile nature of the weapon can make hitting mobile targets difficult, especially in open areas. When attacking players, try using it in corridors.
  • The Megabuster's bonus damage to buildings can be incredibly useful against Combat Mini-Sentries, and should be considered in environments that favor the smaller turrets.

TriviaEdit

  • This weapon originally was a April fools weapon, and wasn't supposed to ever be heard of again. However, it made a re-appearance in the last WOTM update and managed to stay in the game due to people's love for the weapon and the classic series megaman.
  • This weapon was originally a September 2013 Weapon of the Month before becoming a full weapon.
