Maxine is a Heavy primary weapon. It is a dark green WWI-era Minigun covered in rust and sporting wheels on each side of the beginning of the barrels.
This weapon will alow the Heavy to move at normal speed while revved up, entirely bypassing the slow whilst attempting to stay spun-up, However, it passively drains a significant amount of ammo while spun up, and cannot collect ammo from Dispenserse or Bomb Carts. Additionally, it deals lower damage then the standard Minigun and has a spin-up time penalty, forcing the user to take care when preparing for attack.

- Defending areas with this weapon can be difficult, as staying spun up will very quickly drain your ammo supplies, but leaving it unwound leaves you very vulnerable. As such, this weapon is much more effective when used offensively.
- Be sure to pick up weapons dropped from dead enemies and teammates, as you'll need every bullet you can get.
- Always move towards enemies. Maxine's huge advantage comes from the fact that you can overcome the Minigun's massive spread and weakness to falloff by approaching enemies a lot faster then you can with any other Minigun.
