The Marauder's Mace is a melee weapon for the soldier. It is a black mace with a wooden handle.
At the cost of a reduced firing rate, having this weapon active will make you fall faster, take less fall damage and, most importantly, create a shockwave that knocks away all nearby enemies when landing from a rocket jump. This makes the weapon a very useful tool for defending control points or the payload cart.

Gameplay[]
This weapon is a great combo with the Rocket Jumper. Using a damage-dealing rocket launcher will make you near 100HP with this weapon, but the Rocket Jumper won't. An alternative is using the Gunboats so that your damage taken is greatly lowered.
It's great for knocking enemies off a control point and can even throw them off a cliff if said control point is near one.
Tactics[]
Use this mace when attacking groups! It helps seperate the group and makes it easier to take each person out. It's also good for an escape, if you want the enemy off your tail.
Bugs[]
Sometimes, you can actually cause the earthquake without doing a rocket jump. This is a rare bug and doesn't affect gameplay much.
